Restaurant O Faia was founded in 1947 and it remains today as an icon of the city of Lisbon. Reporters, in groups, pairs or on their own, used to go to number 57 of Rua da Barroca.
At the top of the Eiffel Tower, Armando Machado was challenged to open a fado house in Lisbon. The project came to life in 1937, in Rua do Norte. With its doors open ever since, there are a lot of journalists who have gone there and still do.
Number 10 of Travessa da Queimada is the adress, since 1927, of one of the oldest fado houses, where journalists got together, in moments more or less relaxed.
